Depending on the selected model and system design, a heat pump can supply space heating, chilled or cooled water, and domestic hot-water storage. The hydraulic circuit and controls determine how these applications operate together.

Inverter energy management
Full-inverter control raises output when heating demand is high, then progressively reduces compressor, fan and circulation speed as the system approaches its target temperature. Electrical input therefore varies within each model's operating range according to building load, outdoor conditions and required supply-water temperature instead of remaining fixed at one output level.
The result is smarter control of electrical input for the useful heat transferred into the building.Output rises during start-up or when the thermal load increases.
Component speed reduces progressively as system temperature stabilizes.
The system modulates within the range required by real operating conditions.
Air-to-water heat pumps
The current GOLD range includes two air-to-water platforms. Exact performance depends on the selected model and operating conditions.
Full-inverter models in 8, 12, 16 and 22 kW heating capacities, with outlet water up to 80 C.
Models in 8, 12.5, 16 and 22 kW heating capacities, with outlet water up to 60 C and cabinet configuration varying by capacity.
